Attention Laker Parents!
We need to make you aware of Russells Point area busing changes.
One of our bus drivers has moved out of state, which has created a vacant bus driver position. Upon reviewing bus routes in the Russells Point area, we have found an opportunity to increase efficiency by not filling this vacancy and shifting some bus stops to other existing routes that have adequate room. Please note:
*Effective Thursday, September 10th, Bus 21 will no longer be operating.
*Bus 11 will now cover all of 21's stops on State Route 708. Bus 16 will now the cover the Madison, Garfield and Lincoln stops
*Bus 3 will be taking over the Five Parks neighborhood, as well as some stops on State Route 366 to ensure Bus 16 isn't overloaded.
*While times won't be changing greatly, some adjustments will have to be made. Watch for a slip of paper coming home from the bus drivers with info on anticipated time changes.
