We will keep adding new staff to this post every day until we meet them all!

Alex Jacobs

Mr. Alex Jacobs is making it official this year! Mr. Jacobs was on staff at ILHS last year with the MRESC. Now he is teaching Social Studies, including College & Career Readiness, Financial Literacy and some Credit Recovery courses.
You may remember "AJ" as one of the most decorated athletes of all time at Indian Lake. He led the 2015 and 2016 football teams to the first State Playoff appearances in school history. He was also a star in basketball and baseball. Alex graduated in 2017 and went on to play Division I collegiate baseball at Morehead State in Kentucky.
We are pleased to have Mr. Jacobs as a teacher AND a coach for football and baseball. He's a Laker through and through!!
"This is where I want to be, where I always saw myself. I couldn't see myself teaching or coaching anywhere else," Jacobs says.
Fun Fact: Mr. Jacobs can wiggle his ears! Mr. Jacobs

Hannah Kilgore

Miss Hannah Kilgore is another familiar and friendly face new to Indian Lake Schools this year!
Miss Kilgore is a 2016 ILHS graduate who was very involved in sports, service clubs and music during her high school years. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Cedarville University and taught at Triad Schools for three years. Now she's taking over third grade Language Arts and Reading at Indian Lake Elementary. Her classroom decor features mountain tops and she is hoping to take her students to new heights!
Kilgore says, "I would love to make sure my kids know that they belong and that I see value in them. And I would love for them to want to open a book on their own!"
Outside of school, Miss Kilgore enjoys playing pickle ball and helping with the youth group at her church.
Fun Fact: Miss Kilgore can say the alphabet backwards quickly!

Yasmyn Inskeep

Ms. Yasmyn Inskeep is now a full on Laker!

She joined our coaching staff last year as the ILHS Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. The ladies had a great season and she will continue in that capacity this winter.

ALSO, Ms. Inskeep is now a paraprofessional at Indian Lake High School. She had worked in a similar job at Ben Logan Schools for nine years.

Inskeep is a 2006 BLHS graduate. She went on to earn her degree in Child and Family Studies while playing basketball at Muskingum University. She assists students in several classes at ILHS and offers homework help. Yasmyn loves to travel to exotic places, attend sporting events and go to concerts. (She's an 80s music expert!)

Fun Fact: During the very first varsity basketball game she ever played in, Inskeep committed two fouls in her first ten seconds on the court! She wanted to play aggressively to impress the coach:)

Jamie Hampton

Ms. Jamie Hampton plans to amplify science at Indian Lake High School. After working as an extension agent in Auglaize County for the past several years, she is glad to be back in the classroom.
Jamie says, "I like the ornery kids. I am drawn to them!"
Hampton grew up in southern Ohio and began her teaching career at Ripley High School. She also taught three years at an alternative school. Hampton is teaching Physical Science and Integrated Science at ILHS. She is excited to build the Integrated Science class around the interests and career plans of her students.
Hampton is the mother of three boys--one just graduated high school and the others attend Anna Schools. She is already a huge Indian Lake athletics fan, though! She attended both Final 4 Softball games this spring and cheered on the Lady Lakers after she was hired to teach at ILHS.

Fun Fact: Jamie Hampton is LOUD! She says you will find no one louder!

Kelsey King

Mrs. Kelsey King is our new Agriculture Education instructor at Indian Lake High School. She served as the Data & Assessment Coordinator at Ohio Hi Point Career Center for the past 5 years. During that time she decided that if the opportunity ever presented itself for her to be in the classroom she was going to take advantage of it.
Kelsey grew up not far from Indian Lake, where her family has had a commercial hog business. Her grandfather and uncle owned the Waynesfield Stockyards for years. Her father had a smaller swine business on the family farm when she was growing up.

Kelsey and her husband, Brandon have two children. Isaac is 11 years old and Izzy is 8. They live on a farm where they raise animals for the county fair and National exhibition shows. They also raise award winning chickens.

She has hit the ground running as a couple of students began a turkey project right as Kelsey was hired. Her background in poultry will serve her well as she helps the students through that project and she prepares a group to compete in the poultry judging contest at the “Big E” competition held in September in Springfield, Massachusetts this week.

She says, “I am excited for my very first year teaching about an industry that I grew up in and am very passionate about.”

Fun Fact: Mrs. King was born on a leap year. She will be 9 years old on her next birthday!

Brian Claybaugh

Mr. Claybaugh just got to Indian Lake, but he's already a Laker teacher, a Laker coach and a Laker parent!
Claybaugh is working with high school students as an Interventional Specialist. He runs the resource room and co-teaches in classrooms for inclusion intervention. He comes to us from Ridgemont Schools, where he taught for five years.
Right now he is riding high as part of the ILHS Football Coaching Staff. Coach Claybaugh is advising both the Laker offensive and defensive lines, which have had success for the past three weeks!
Brian grew up near Wapakoneta, but his family now lives near Jackson Center. He has a daughter in second grade and a son in kindergarten at ILES, along with another little one at home.

Fun Fact: Mr. Claybaugh's first job was at McDonalds of Indian Lake....AND it's where he met his wife!

Mr. Tom Klofta

Mr. Klofta is now driving Bus #8 full time. He served as a substitute bus driver last year, but has his own route in and around Huntsville for the 2023-24 school year.
For more than 25 years, Klofta owned and operated Dad's Complete Car Care in Lima. Once he retired, he says he got bored, so he signed on to transport kids to schools.
He says, "It's really noisy, but I enjoy it!"
Klofta and his wife grew up in Lima, but moved to Indian Lake to raise their family decades ago.
He has a keen interest in getting kids to school safely since he has six grandkids in the Indian Lake district at the moment! When not driving bus or doing grandpa duty, Tom still likes to work on cars.

Fun Fact: Klofta has the need for speed, but not on the road. He and his sons love to race "hot rod" boats on Indian Lake!

Mr. Randy Page

Mr. Page is glad to be running the Resource Room at Indian Lake Middle School. As a long-time Intervention Specialist, he works with students in grades 5-8 to make sure they are mastering skills at their grade level. He is a familiar face at ILMS because last year he led an MRESC Students with Disabilities Unit for the same grade levels.
Mr. Page is a graduate of the University of Louisville and he loves all things Cardinals! Outside of the classroom he makes a point to attend all types of Louisville sporting events. In addition, he is an avid runner, a hobby he picked up as a young man to enjoy with friends.
Mr. Page is originally from the Alger area and spent several years teaching in our region and in southern Ohio. That's where he met his wife. They have two grown children and four grandchildren, who also reside in southern Ohio.

Fun Fact: Mr. Page has completed several marathons, including the 2000 Boston Marathon!
