Annual Bus Driver Training

Indian Lake Bus Drivers gathered for special training before embarking on their routes. They practiced scenarios on the bus and heard from Washington Township Officer Adam Niederkohr concerning emergency response techniques. He urged them to mentally prepare for the job of transporting dozens of students by thinking of themselves as "sheepdogs" or protectors of their flock. Bus drivers will also take part in ALICE training with the entire Indian Lake staff.
Please be aware that busses from other schools and IL Summer School are already on the roads. We appreciate your patience and understanding to keep kids safe as they travel to and from school, sporting events and other special activities!
