Hundreds of area middle school students sang together Tuesday night as Indian Lake Schools hosted the First Annual Junior High Choir Invitational in the ILHS Auditorium. Five choirs from around the county performed including the Indian Lake 6th Grade Choir, the Bellefontaine 7th Grade Choir, the West Liberty-Salem Junior High Choir, the Bellefontaine 8th Grade Choir and the Indian Lake 7/8th Grade Choir.
The evening was full of religious, traditional and comtemporary music. As a special treat, the ILMS 7/8 Grade Choir girls sang the song "I Ask for One Day" without the boys, while the boys sang "The Ghost Ship" without the girls.
Indian Lake Choir Director Joyce King for spearheaded the event as a showcase of today's musical talent and promise of greatness in years to come. King thanked Bellefontaine Choir Director Stacy Calton and  West Liberty Choir Director Brice Henry for being willing to share their performances.

Here is a selection of the ILMS 7/8th Grade Choir singing "Put A Little Love in Your Heart" arranged by Greg Gilpin.
