Located in northwest Logan County, Ohio, the Indian Lake School District encompasses 126 square miles including the municipalities of Huntsville, Lakeview, Lewistown and Russells Point.

Indian Lake Schools offer rigorous academic programs. Our caring teachers and staff are dedicated to helping every student reach his or her potential.

At the elementary school, we have an established positive behavior program that encourages good citizenship and academic achievement.

At the middle school, we have a newly created Robotics Program in partnership with our corporate neighbor, Honda Transmission Manufacturing.

At the high school, we offer a wide array of challenges, including college prep courses and manufacturing/welding courses. In addition, we are part of a 21st Century Grant called OhioMeansJobs@ILHS, enabling us to supplement many programs and offer additional instruction before and after the traditional school day.

Indian Lake is a member of the Central Buckeye Conference and has a long tradition of competitive athletes. Our weight room facility is recently renovated to incorporate advanced training. We have an active Athletic Boosters organization and many youth development programs.

In addition, Indian Lake Schools offer one of the area’s best programs for the Arts. From middle and high school show choirs, to symphonic, marching and jazz bands, to the annual high school musical, our students can truly showcase their talents. Many parents support the Music Department through our active Music Boosters organization.

Finally, the Indian Lake Visual Arts program has recently expanded to include oil painting and ceramics as courses, and includes an active Art Club after school one day a week.

The Indian Lake area offers an array of activities including boating, fishing, camping, biking, hiking and dining on one of Ohio's largest lakes.
